Shaping your future, today.
The Academy play in the Ryman Football Youth League, seen as one of the senior national youth
competitions outside of the professional game. As an Academy student you will follow a daily coaching
programme led by a professional coach. This will develop your football skills, your game understanding
and your fitness levels; it will prepare you for the demands of the modern game.
The Academy aims to set the highest footballing and academic standards for its students representing
Cray Wanderers FC and studying at Coopers Technology College by promoting a positive environment for
player development and educational achievement.
As a Football Academy student your educational studies would comprise either A Levels or a BTEC
Sports National Diploma. The BTEC course is equivalent to three A Levels and includes the opportunity to
gain FA Coaching Qualifications and Sports Leadership Awards.
